Midterm Mark

I am very glad that I joined get fit because we do so many different and adventurous things.  This semester just has been amazing. I feel that ever since I joined get fit I feel very daring to do new things.  I have came out of my shell a bit more.  In the future I will defiantly take get fit again I just love it. I like it way better then regular physical education. I feel that I try my best all the time,and I'm usually always on time for class.  I always try my hardest during group games my favourite is the tail game. Overall I think I deserve 87% in this class.

Fencing

Fencing was a great experience.  I always wondered how it would be to fence,well now I know.   I'm very happy that I got to fence,it was a lot of fun,especially when we did the actual fencing with the monitors.  I have to admit at first fencing was a bit boring but then I got really into it and it got super fun.  This was very new to me and I'm always open to doing new things. I enjoyed most of it except wearing the helmets. I wish we didn't have to wear the helmets because if you get really itchy it's hard to keep taking the mask off and putting it back on.  I felt that I put all me effort into fencing I was breaking out in a sweat and at the same time I was enjoying it.  I learned how to fence obviously and that always give new things a chance.

inspiration

Update

The start of this semester in get fit has been great.  I really like the fact that we get to go on field trips and be adventours.  The dance field trip we went on was a good workout, and it was super fun. I can't wait to go on the other field trips we have. I feel that I improved my fitness; because the first beep test I did, I got 5.5 the second beep test I did,I got 6.0. I feel that get fit helps me keep my fitness level up. For the next beep test my goal is to get 6.5, and I know I can do it.! I always try to keep my fitness level in line, I do I go to the YMCA about 4 days a week, and I get a very good workout. At first I go to the gym I to workout my body then i do cardio and , after I go swim about 10 laps.

Why I joined get fit

I joined get fit because, we get to do more physical activity.  I also feel that my fitness will increase by doing get fit, because I feel that we work more on fitness. I also feel more confident because, there is all girls in our class. In addition i like how we get to be adventurous, and go for field trips.  I'm hoping to have a lot of fun in this class and to increase my fitness level.

Final blog post

I have come a long ways in my fitness level from the beginning of the school year to now. i always try my best and participate in all activities. Also at the beginning of the school year I set up specific goals for myself to achieve which consisted of:

1. Obtain higher fitness levels
2. Achieve a stronger core
3. Build upper body strength

As this year/term has passed I have achieved and am still working on improving my goals daily. My will power/determination has really motivated me to meet these goals. The steps I have taken to achieve my goals are:

1. Work out daily at the local YMCA
        Working on core exercises by using aids such as medicine balls, weights, body strength
        Crunches/situps daily
        Using machines/free weights and other aids at the facility
2. Working on cardio and my ability to push myself harder and stronger each day to build a better stamina and
    maintain a good fitness level
3. Nutrition - Watching what I eat, how much I eat and maintaining good portion control

In conclusion, I have learned in order to maintain "good health" for myself I must continue to practice these self disciplined actions to help achieve my goals now and in the future. Overall I think I deserve an A.

Assessment

I usually go to the YMCA every second day, to keep myself fit.  After the gym I have a healthy meal for example a salad.  Also I have set many goals for instance if I lift 30 pounds on the leg press the next time I will try to lift 40 pounds and build my way up. The other thing is say if i spend 15 minutes on the treadmill or elliptical the next time I will try to stay on for 20 or 25 minutes at most. 

Interm report

I personally think I have been doing great in this course.  One of the things I should work on is being more involved In group games.  I could accomplish this by being more enthusiastic while playing in group games.  Also I feel like I have improved in the pond run.  When I first started doing the pond run I had to put a lot of effort into it, but each time I do it, it gets easier.  Also I spend my afternoon or free time playing basketball.  I think overall I deserve an A.  

Opinion on what activity is better

I think it's better doing the activity we did today on the field because we get fresh air so then you won't feel as sticky and gross.  But the workout is just as good, as when we do it in the gym. The only thing is it just gets really warm in the gym.

Semester 2 intern report

I think throught the  term I have gotten better and better.  I have more of a positive attitude now then I did in the beginning. I am doing much better in fitness levels, also I have achieved those goals that I was hoping to achieve.   I have 2 more goals which are trying my best in every class,and taking charge in trying to be a leader and  I'm going to do this by being prepared and being on time for each class.  Also I will participate in all activities, and help clean up after we are finished doing each activitie.   overall I think I deserve a G for work habits.

Harleen uppal

I think I deserve an A because I have excelled and met many goals I have set for myself. Throughout this semester I tried my best and find myself participating in every activity the class has set. My stamina has increased from when I started and I feel I have progressed in being physically fit and active  - an example of this is when i initally started my beep test read 6.5 and now my beep test showed 7.0. I contribute to my physical activity and fitness level by participating in extra curricular activities outside of school such as basketball, taekwando, swimming and cardio training at the local gym. I find myself healthier and making better choices in my lifestyle to accomodate to an active lifestyle.
